Many fad diets associate painful gas, bloating. and nausea with antinutrients in plant foods. The same foods can have undigestible prebiotics know as FODMAPs. FODMAP stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols. Fermentation is the culprit.
